So, I have been a fan of Coheed and Cambria since "The Second Stage Turbine Blade" came out when I was in high school. Needless to say I am extremely excited for their upcoming double album. However, I still hope that it is more inline with "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3." I don't say this out of annoying, hipstery "I found them first" logic, rather I prefer the mixes of the original two albums.
Listen to all of the albums back to back and tell me there is not a progression of heavy handed executive decision making behind the later installments. Don't get me wrong, I love all of their work, but there was just an urgency in the first two albums that I feel was lacking from the latest.
